A fast-paced, high-energy sport played in an octagonal pit, Gaga is another camp favorite. The more players, the better! The game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping, while players try to strike opponents below the knees.
Wellness + Welcome Center
Camp Settoga’s air-conditioned health center is staffed by our dedicated office staff and registered nurse. The staff is on hand all day to care for campers and accommodate staff members’ needs, and are always available to answer parents’ questions or concerns.
Fine Arts Center
Our enclosed Arts Center is designed to inspire creativity. Campers can utilize our weaving wall, paint or draw overlooking the artist’s glen, create clay and wire sculptures, and explore printmaking, watercolor, installations of natural materials, and much more!
Our outdoor, heated, Olympic-sized swimming pool is the setting for both instructional and free swim each day. Campers are placed in small groups of similar abilities, and work on a number of skills each day. The aquatics staff includes both lifeguards and WSIs (water safety instructors), who get to know our campers and guide them throughout the summer.
Campers’ confidence soars to new heights as they navigate our comprehensive adventure course. The 50-foot three–sided climbing tower and 16-element high ropes course offer new challenges and opportunities each time campers visit. The course is staffed by an exceptional group of trained climbers who support and encourage our campers each day.
Lunch is served family-style, with campers sharing a table with friends and counselors. Our daily lunch program includes a hot main course, fruit, and water; alternatives are provided for those who prefer our salad or sandwich bar. For campers with allergies and other dietary needs, we work with families in advance of the summer to develop a menu that works for them.
